Namitha had a meaty role in the Ajith starrer Billa, though Nayanthara was the main female lead. Wising Billa 2 team all success, Namitha said that she wanted to be a part of the film but unfortunately it did not happen.
Billa 2 was initially to be directed by Vishnuvardhan but the project fell on the hands of Chakri Toleti who is now directing the film. Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah are playing Ajith’s lead pairs in this film which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
