2011 has some special treats for the action flick buffs as Bollywood will recreate some of the finest Hollywood’s best thriller with the Desi touch. Saif Ali Khan is vigorously filming his next movie ‘Agent Vinod’ that is loosely based on ‘Bond’ series. Hollywood’s magical spells have always transfixed Sriram Raghavan as his films possess such influences. The filmmaker is close on the heels of completing this spy-thriller that has Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. Shot across various parts of the globe, Saif Ali Khan has scheduled the film’s release for summer 2011.
Abhishek Bachchan’s ‘Game’ is also reported of being inspired from Hollywood’s most familiar ‘Bourne series’. This espionage thriller has been shot across wide range of new locations in Mumbai, Greece, Istanbul, London and Thailand. If everything goes as per plans, the film will be released at the same time of ‘Agent Vinod’.Abhi’s multi starrer ‘Players’ is Abbas-Mustan’s remake of ‘The Italian Job’ that will have an ensemble cast of Neil Nithin Mukesh, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol and Omi Vaidya.
