Since cooking and heating foods destroys fluorine, it is better to eat uncooked raw fruits and vegetables. Other foods rich in fluorine are goat milk and cheese, rye flour, avocados, sea plants and cabbage, cream whey and cottage cheese.

19. Wrinkle skin is a result of Sodium deficiency and makes skin sticky. Cucumbers are ideal for combating and preventing sodium deficiency because they are not only high in sodium, but also help in keeping the body cool, a great summer's treat.

20. Skin rashes are the result of silicon deficiency. To avoid pus and rashes, eat plenty of sprouts, alfalfa, barley, tomatoes, spinach, strawberries and figs.

Tips To Walk In High Heels

If you are afraid to walk in heels you are limiting yourself from purchasing some of the cutest shoes. Vanity aside, there are also some situations where heels really are more appropriate than flats. You might not wear them often, but all women should own and know how to walk in at least one pair.

Unfortunately, there are no quick tips that will instantly make you able to walk in heels. It takes practice, practice, and more practice.

Start with a low or thick heel. Once you get comfortable walking in that you can gradually increase to a higher one. Starting with really high heels is just going to discourage you.
There is no need to jump right to stilettos. Platforms, wedges and stacked heels also give you the same height and illusion of longer legs and are easier to walk in.

Heels can be especially stressful on your feet, back and neck so stretch your legs before and after you spend hours on your feet in heels.

When walking in heels, walk with your legs straight and keep them as close together as your can. High heels can throw off your balance, especially if you aren't used to them so be sure to use your arms to help keep you standing straight. Also keep your chin up and shoulders back.

When first learning, take smaller strides at and be sure to put the heel down first when walking. You want the pressure and weight to land on the heel itself, not on your toes.

Avoid slippery, slushy or rocky pavement. Your heels can easily sink into soft ground and it is much easier to slip in them than it is in flats. Also watch out for grates and cracks that your heel could get stuck in. Not only is this embarrassing, but it can also ruin your shoe.

If heels start to hurt your feet after wearing them for a few hours, be sure to give them a rest. If you go out to a restaurant or are at your desk at work, slip them off for a little while and stretch out your feet. If you wear heels at work, bring a pair of flats to wear on your commute to and from home.

Britney Spears New Video

Britney Spears new video for track Do Somethin' has been banned from airplay in Europe. What may be the reason? Well, nothing actually directly to do with Ms. Spears, but due to the fact that a Louis Vuitton logo is visible. The fashion house won an injunction in court against Sony BMG and MTV Online, who were both ordered to pay $117,600 each for 'damaging' the brand's image.

The two companies must also pay $1,470 for every day that the video is kept online. This is the reason y her video is banned.

Bond's New Heroine

Actress Gemma Arterton of the show 'St Trinian' will be the next Bond girl. It will be her second film.

One website reports that the 22-year old beat 1,500 other women to co-star with Daniel Craig in the movie tentatively titled Bond 22. Filming starts in January.

According to the Daily Mail, Gemma learned of her success only this week and has been sworn to secrecy until the complete cast is revealed later this month. The Sun claims that Gemma sent her mother Sally a text saying: "I got Bond!" Interestingly enough, Mother Craig also broke the news of her son being cast as James Bond.

What makes the story doubtful is the fact that the last information Bond fans got was that producers are looking for a South-American Bond girl and that auditions had taken place in Brazil and Panama.

Understand about the Little Master

When many people say how many of Sachin's hundreds have come for a winning cause,Here is analysis of each of those centuries he scored when INDIA lost and reason why it went in vain.
Out of the 41 hundreds,.............. ... .......

Out of the 41 hundreds, 11 hundreds have gone in vain.

1.137 off 137 (Strike rate 100) balls Vs SriLanka at Delhi in 1996 World Cup .
India scored 271/3 in 50 overs. The only other 50 score was from Azhar. SL made 272 in 48.4 overs. Manoj Prabhakar had 4-0-47-0. He also opened in the innings and scored 7 of 36 balls.

2. 100 of 111 Balls Vs Pak in Singapore- Apr 96 .
India 226 all out in 47.1 overs, When Sachin was out score was 186/4 (We cant blame because next 3 are match fixtures) . Pak had a reduced target of 187 from 33 overs.

3. 110 of 138 Balls (Slower but...) vs Sri Lanka In Colombo - Aug 96.
Again India 226 for 5 in 50 overs, Only other 50 score from Azhar (58 of 99 balls !!!) .Sachin has also bowled 6-0-29-1 , the second most economical bowler and the only wicket taker (SL were 230/1 in 44.2 ) of the match next to Srinath. 7 bowlers were used by Azhar.

4. 143 of 131 Balls (!!!) Vs Aus at Sharjah, Apr 1998.
This was chasing under lights. The qualifying match before the final. The whole world knows about this match. Still one interesting point, when Sachin was out India were 242 at 5 at 43 overs. Target was 276 in 46. Still India finished at 250/5 scoring just 8 of the next 3 overs. Great performance by Laxman and Kanithkar indeed.

5. 101 of 140 Balls against SL at Sharjah in Oct 2000.
Indian score was 224/8 in 50 overs. (No other 50 score). SL got 225/5 in 43.5, Sachin also bowled 5-0-22-0, better economy rate than everyone except Srinath.

6. 146 of 153 Balls against Zimbabwe at Jodhpur - December 2000 (Game of Dougla Mariliar)
India made 283 / 8 in 50 overs. Sachin was the last man to be dismissed, score was 235/8 at 46.3 overs when he was out. Agarkar and Zaheer Khan propelled India to 283 in the last 3.3 overs. When Sachin has scored 146 of 235 in 46.3 overs, you can guess what the other 8 great batsmen were doing against the World class Zimbabwe attack. Second Highest scorer was Zaheer Khan with 32.
Zim got 284/9 in 49.5 overs. Kumble bowled the last over. Sachin also got 6-0-35-1

7. 101 of 129 Balls Vs SA at Johannesburg - Oct 2001
India got 279/5 in 50, Ganguly made 127 of 126 balls. When Ganguly got out, the score was 193-1 in 35.2 overs. Sachin was the last man to get out at 263. SA got 280 in 48.4 overs. Sachin bowled 9-0-51-0, second best in economy rate next only to Agarkar (10-0-45-1)

8. 141 of 135 balls Vs Pak at Rawalpindi, March 2004 .
India were chasing 329 and were 317 all out in 48.4 overs, 8 balls to spare. No other batsman made even a 50 (when chasing 300 ) and when Sachin was out, India were 245-4 in 38.4 overs. They needed 85 from 68 balls with 6 wickets in hand.

9. 123 of 130 Balls vs Pak at Ahmedabad, April 2005.
India made 315/6 in 48 overs (48 over match), again no other 50 score. Second highest was Dhoni 47 of 64 balls, (third highest was extras - 39). Pak made 319 in 48 overs. The three quicks (Balaji, Nehra and Khan went for 188 runs from 26 overs between them taking only 2 wickets). Sachin bowled 6-0-36-1. No Harbhajan and no Kumble.

10. 100 of 113 Balls Vs Pak at Peshawar, Feb-2006.
India were 328 all out in 49.4 overs. Pathan and Dhoni got 60 each. When Sachin was out when India were 305-5 in 45 overs. Managed only 23 in the last 5 overs.Pak scored 311/7 in 47 overs and won by D/L method. Could have been anybody's game. Sachin did not bowl.

11. 141* of 148 balls vs WI at Malaysia.
India made 309 /5 in 50 overs. Sachin was not out. Pathan was the only other 50 scorer. WI made 141/2 in 20 overs and won by D/L method. Again could have been anybody's game.

In the other 31 instances India has won 30 times and once there was no result .

Now, please think again when you say sachin's 100s were in the losing cause and that he is not a team player. It is a fact that for the entire 90's India played International cricket with 1 PLAYER and 10 JOKERS.

East or West India is the best

An American decided to write a book about famous churches around the world.
So he bought a plane ticket and took a trip to china.

On his first day he was inside a church taking photographs when he noticed a golden telephone mounted on the wall with a sign that read "$10,000 per call". The American, being intrigued, asked a priest who was strolling by what the telephone was used for. The priest replied that it was a direct line to heaven and that for $10,000 you could talk to God. The American thanked the priest and went along his way.

Next stop was in Japan. There, at a very large cathedral, he saw the same golden telephone with the same sign under it. He wondered if this was the same kind of telephone he saw in china and he asked a nearby nun what its purpose was. She told him that it was a direct line to heaven and that for $10,000 he could talk to God. "O.K., thank you," said the American.

He then traveled to Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Russia, Germany and France.
In every church he saw the same golden telephone with the same "$10,000 per call" sign under it. The American, upon leaving Vermont decided to travel to up to India to see if Indians had the same phone.

He arrived in India, and again, in the first church he entered, there was the same golden telephone, but this time the sign under it read "One Rupee per call." The American was surprised so he asked the priest about the sign. "Father, I've traveled all over World and I've seen this same golden telephone in many churches. I'm told that it is a direct line to Heaven, but in the price was $10,000 per call. Why is it so cheap here?"

Hey reader, it is your turn........ Think .....before you see below....

Its a Beautiful Life

It has been my intention to blog a single post a day (atleast to regain my rightful title..) but it has been extremely difficult with classes scheduled back to back.

For example: We had a media planning workshop for the past two days. A heavy duty one, but a very enlightening one at that. Simple concepts that have been hitherto jargonized were de-mystifyed by two people;Ashish Williams and Pankaj Bhawrani from MindShare(one of the largest global media agency networks). I loved the two days, the way the men conducted the sessions, their ability to communicate in common man's language and their passion to share their subjects. Good stuff man. And all you people reading this must check out Axe Unlimited Academies(an out of the box promotion idea!!!)You have to check this out, if not for anything else, the way the website has been made!

It is somewhere here that I am glad that I came to SIMC. It is not an extraordinary feeling to be here (for reasons I dont want to get into, for it is going to be yet another cribbing session!) but atleast the exposure has been substantial, both personally and otherwise. This place might not be 'the' place to be in, but I have learnt innumerable things. Even while I am writing this I wonder if I am trying to convince myself, probably, sub-consciously but I don’t want to deny the value-additions this place has given me.

After all, its a beautiful life!

10 Leaders Head in One Drawing

This drawing was drawn by my friend Janani, who is very good in drawing. The drawing is charming. There are 10 leaders head in this drwaing ,find out names of the leaders using their heads in this drawing.

Working of Stock Market

It was autumn, and the Red Indians asked their New Chief if the winter
was going to be cold or mild. Since he was a Red Indian chief in a
modern society, he couldn't tell what the weather was going to be.
Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he replied to his Tribe that the
winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village
should collect wood to be prepared.
But also being a practical leader, after several days he got an idea.
He went to the phone booth, called the National Weather Service and
asked "Is the coming winter going to be cold?" "It looks like this
winter is Going to be quite cold indeed," the meteorologist at the
weather service Responded.

So the Chief went back to his people and told them to collect even
more Wood. A week later, he called the National Weather Service again.
"Is it going to be a very cold winter?" "Yes," the man at National
Weather Service again replied, "It's definitely going to be a very
cold winter."

The Chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect
every scrap of wood they could find. Two weeks later, he called the
National Weather Service again. "Are you absolutely sure that the
winter is going to be very cold?" "Absolutely, " The Man replied. "It's
going to be one of the coldest winters ever."

"How can you be so sure?" the Chief asked. The weatherman replied,
"The Red Indians are collecting wood like Crazy."

This is how stock markets work!!!

Google Phones really cooool

Google Mobile Phones Coming (G Phone)

Google has been lobbying the U.S. government for changes in wireless policy. While it did not achieve as much as it wanted in the planning for the upcoming 700 Mhz spectrum auction in January, it did push for the fact that consumers in the U.S. can buy any phone and use it on any carrier in the future. Meaning, that when the Gphone does drop, most likely you'll be albe to use it on any carrier you please. The Googlephone will most likely be 3G as well, which means video conferencing, yea you can't do that with the iPhone. For you iPhones users though, would this be enough to make you switch?

The Observer of London is reporting that Google might be working with HTC and mobile/telecom giant Orange to build a Google Mobile Phone, which could possibly have Google software inside the device, and would be able to do many of the web tasks smartly. The device, article speculates, could go on sale in 2008. (Of course, we would all have forgotten by then… if it doesn't happen.) Orange and Google, both declined to comment.

Their plans centre on a branded Google phone, which would probably also carry Orange's logo. The device would not be revolutionary: manufactured by HTC, a Taiwanese firm specialising in smart phones and Personal Data Assistants (PDAs), it might have a screen similar to a video iPod. But it would have built-in Google software which would dramatically improve on the slow and cumbersome experience of surfing the web from a mobile handset.

Calculate Ur Age

Don't tell me your age; you probably would tell a falsehood anyway-but your waiter may know!

YOUR AGE BY DINER & RESTAURANT MATH

This is pretty neat.

It takes less than a minute .
Work this out as you read .
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to
eat.
(more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1757 ....
If you haven't, add 1756.

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(I.e., how! Many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.)

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2007) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS

Cricketer in Santosh Subramanium

Bommarillu was a much talked about film in Tollywood and was a blockbuster hit there. The film in fact earned much acclaim for its neat storyline and performance by its lead cast. Its success has made Jeyam Raja to remake the same in Tamil with his brother Ravi doing the role of Siddharth, who was a revelation in the original version. But for the hero, most of the other characters are kept intact. Genelia and Prakash Raj play the same role which they played in the Telugu version.

Meanwhile it has been reported that in Santosh Subramaniam, Tamil Nadu cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh makes his entry as hero’s brother. Though in the original version, the role of hero’s brother is not too pivotal, in Tamil, it may not be the same as they have cast Ramesh. Perhaps Raja has altered the script to accommodate Ramesh to whom the tinsel world is not new as he is already seen in many of the television shows. Santosh Subramaniam is being produced by Kalpathi Agoram whose last production venture Thirutt

A Nice Article about Love - By Swami Vivekananda

I once had a friend who grew to be very close to me. Once when we were sitting at the edge of a swimming pool, she filled the palm of her hand with some water and held it before me, and said this:

"You see this water carefully contained on my hand? It symbolizes
Love."

This was how I saw it: As long as you keep your hand caringly open and allow it to remain there, it will always be there. However, if you attempt to close your fingers round it and try to posses it, it will spill through the first cracks it finds.

This is the greatest mistake that people do when they meet love...they try to posses it, they demand, they expect... and just like the water spilling out of your hand, love will retrieve from you .

For love is meant to be free, you cannot change its nature. If there are people you love, allow them to be free beings.

Give and don't expect.
Advise, but don't order.
Ask, but never demand.

It might sound simple, but it is a lesson that may take a lifetime to truly practice. It is the secret to true love. To truly practice it, you must sincerely feel no expectations from those who you love, and yet an unconditional caring."

Passing thought... Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take; but by the moments that take our breath away.....

Life is beautiful!!! Live it !!!

Einstein Pics.......Rare Collection

Of course it was-people's brains are as different as their faces. In his lifetime many wondered if there was anything especially different in Einstein's. He insisted that on his death his brain be made available for research. When Einstein died in 1955, pathologist Thomas Harvey quickly preserved the brain and made samples and sections. He reported that he could see nothing unusual. The variations were within the range of normal human variations. There the matter rested until 1999. Inspecting samples that Harvey had carefully preserved, Sandra F. Witelson and colleagues discovered that Einstein's brain lacked a particular small wrinkle (the parietal operculum) that most people have. Perhaps in compensation, other regions on each side were a bit enlarged-the inferior parietal lobes. These regions are known to have something to do with visual imagery and mathematical thinking. Thus Einstein was apparently better equipped than most people for a certain type of thinking. Yet others of his day were probably at least as well equipped-Henri Poincar and David Hilbert, for example, were formidable visual and mathematical thinkers, both were on the trail of relativity, yet Einstein got far ahead of them. What he did with his brain depended on the nurturing of family and friends, a solid German and Swiss education, and his own bold personality.

A late bloomer: Ev en at the age of nine Einstein spoke hesitantly, and his parents feared that he was below average intelligence. Did he have a learning or personality disability (such as "Asperger's syndrome," a mild form of autism)? There is not enough historical evidence to say. Probably Albert was simply a thoughtful and somewhat shy child. If he had some difficulties in school, the problem was probably resistance to the authoritarian German teachers, perhaps compounded by the awkward situation of a Jewish boy in a Catholic school. World's Tallest Man - Robert Wadlow

Robert Pershing Wadlow (1918 - 1940) was and is the tallest human being ever recorded. He reached 8' 11.1" (272 cm) in height and 490 pounds (222.26 kg) in weight before his death at the age of 22. His height was due to an overactive pituitary gland.

Robert Wadlow was born in Alton, Illinois on February 22 1918. At the time he weighed only 8' 6 ounces (3.8 kg). He attracted attention due to his rapid growth when all his four siblings grew at a more normal speed. At the age of 13 he became the world's tallest Boy Scout with a height of 7'4 (224 cm).

At age 18 his height was 8'4 (254 cm) and he weighed 390 pounds (177 kg). His size 37 shoes cost $100.00 a pair.

At the age of 20 Wadlow signed a contract with the International Shoe Company; he received free shoes in exchange for a promotional tour. He traveled all around the USA with his father. In 1936 he enrolled in Shurtleff College with the intention of studying law.

By 1937 he had exceeded the previous records. However, his size begun to take its toll. He had to keep braces in his feet to walk and had little sensation in them.

On July 4 1940 Wadlow was taken ill in Manistee, Michigan; a faulty brace had caused a blister and bad infection. Doctors treated him with blood transfusions and emergency surgery but his fever got worse. On July 15 1940 he died in his sleep. He was buried in Alton on July 19.

In 1984 his hometown raised a bronze statue in his memory. His family destroyed his belongings lest they become collectables.

Newton's Law for Love........

universal law:
love can neither be created nor be destroyed, only it can transfer from
one girlfriend to another girlfriend with some loss of money.

first law:
a boy in love with a girl, continue to be in love with her and a girl
in love with a boy, continue to be in love with him, until on unless
any external agent(brother or father of the gal) comes into play and
break the legs of the boy.

second law:
the rate of change of intensity of love of a girl towards a boy is
directly proportional to the instantaneous bank balance of the boy and
the direction of this love is same to as increment or decrement of the
bank balance.

third law:
the force applied while proposing a girl by a boy is equal and opposite
to the force applied by the girl while using her sandals.

Its really amazing!!!

Discussion on family problem....... read it

Two men, one American and an Indian were sitting in a bar drinking shot
after shot.
The Indian man said to the American," You know my parents are forcing
me
to get married to this so called homely girl from a village whom I
haven't even met once. We call this arranged marriage. I don't want to
marry a woman whom I don't love...I told them that openly and now have
a
hell lot of family problems."

The American said, "Talking about love marriages... I'll tell you my
story.
I married a widow whom I deeply loved and dated for 3 years.
"After a couple of years, my father fell in love with my step-daughter
and so my father became my son-in-law and I became my father's
father-in-law.
My daughter is my mother and my wife my grandmother. More problems
occurred when I had a son. My son is my father's brother and so he my
uncle.
Situations turned worse when my father had a son. Now my father's son
i.e.
my brother is my grandson. Ultimately, I have become my own grand
father
and I am my own grandson. And you say you have family problems.... Give
me a breaK..................................

Numbers!!!.. good one

Have you ever thought why ........ 1 means "one", and 2 means "two"? The roman numerals are easy to understand but what was the logic behind the phonecian numbers?

It's all about angles !

It's the number of angles. If one writes the numbers down (see below) on a piece of paper in their older forms, one quickly sees why. I have marked the angles with "o"s.

No 1 has one angle.
No 2 has two angles.
No 3 has three angles.
etc.

and "O" has no angles

image of phonecian numbers

Interesting, isn't it?

An ancient phonecian manuscript explains this and I thought it to be fascinating.

Ice Hotel in Sweden

Although ice hotels now exist in several cold countries, the Ice Hotel in Kiruna, Sweden is best known as the earliest. Since its creation in 1989, the hotel has featured in many television travel programmes, newspapers and magazines. With the exception of the beds, the entire hotel is made completely out of ice blocks - even the glasses in the bar are made of ice. The ice is made from water taken from the River Torne. The hotel features more than 60 rooms and suites, a bar, reception area and chapel. The hotel only exists between November and May.

Australia in India

World champions face off

The upcoming one-day series between India and Australia will see a face-off between two world champions. While Australia has been ruling the one-day circuit for over nine years now, India is the new Twenty20 world champions. Australia will also be looking to redeem themselves after their loss to India in the semi-final of the ICC World Twenty20. But they arrive here without their key fast bowler Shane Watson and middle-order batsman Michael Hussey. With Ricky Ponting and Nathan Bracken likely to miss out the first few matches, and India riding on the momentum of the win in South Africa, it can be expected that this series will be a closely-fought one.

INDIA--World Twenty20 Champions

Ten days earlier, India and Pakistan couldn't be separated in Durban. In front of a frenzied crowd at the Wanderers on Monday, they played out perhaps the best final ever seen in a major tournament. Once again, the ice-cool Misbah-ul-Haq threatened to drag Pakistan back from the brink, but the Indians just about held their nerve to clinch a five-run victory and the inaugural ICC World Twenty20.
The architects of the Indian triumph were the two left-armers, Rudra Pratap Singh and Irfan Pathan, both of whom scalped three wickets to scupper the chase. Singh struck in both his opening overs, having Mohammad Hafeez caught at slip and knocking Kamran Akmal's off stump out of the ground, but Imran Nazir played a blinder at the other end to keep his side ahead of the asking rate.

Two sixes and two fours came in Sreesanth's opening over, as Nazir cut and pulled with immense power. Sreesanth redeemed himself with a maiden to Younis Khan, but India still needed wickets as they sought to defend a middling total. The inspiration came from Robin Uthappa, whose unerring throw from mid-off to the keeper's end ended Nazir's blistering 14-ball 33.

Gambhir tried to break free of the shackles, and a massive six that thudded into the scoreboard at midwicket had the Indian fans dancing, but Gul's retribution was swift. An attempted flick-paddle went straight to Asif at short fine leg, and Gambhir's splendid innings was finally over.

Sharma had shone against South Africa in a crunch game, and he came to the fore again in the final two overs, taking Arafat for two fours before he lofted a slower ball from Tanvir in the direction of long-on. Hafeez got there, but could only tip the ball over the rope. On such incidents are matches between these two great rivals won and lost. On an enthralling afternoon at the Bullring though, there were no winners or losers, just a resounding success for a format that is undoubtedly here to stay.

Twenty 20- Fast and Furious

Thirty-two years ago, world cricket entered unknown territory when England hosted the first World Cup in 1975 - the form of the game was called limited-overs internationals, and only 18 such games had ever been played when England and India played the first match of the tournament. On Tuesday, it's time to set into motion another experiment as South Africa and West Indies kick off the World Twenty20 in a format which is only 16 matches old.Its really good improvement from 50 overs to 20 overs thats y its fast n furious .

Shortened attention spans, the plethora of entertainment options, and quite simply, the lack of time means everything has had to adapt, and over the next 14 days, we'll see just how successful that adaptation has been on the world stage. Early indications in the markets where the format has been tried in domestic tournaments - suggests nothing should stop it from being a rocking success: the weather in all venues is expected to be fair, the conditions should be excellent, and the domestic Twenty20 tournaments in South Africa have shown that the people have embraced it completely.

The hit-or-miss nature of the game suggests little time for strategy, but there'll be plenty of subplots which could be fascinating. It's still early summer in South Africa, and the nip in the air in the evening could offer the swing bowlers some reason to smile.

The cool conditions might not be to their liking, but in the domestic tournaments the slow bowlers haven't been carved about like you'd normally expect. Despite the absence of Muttiah Muralitharan, the spinners are still reasonably well represented - Daniel Vettori, Harbhajan Singh, Brad Hogg and Abdur Razzak are just some of the names who could push up their popularity ratings in this tournament.

The cricket will be the showcase, but there'll be much more than that on offer on the grounds. A live band practicing on the outfield suggested a loud opening is in store on Tuesday, while cheerleaders were doing their rehearsing act in preparation for all the fours and sixes which will be witnessed over the next couple of weeks.

See The Day And Night At The Same Time

THIS PHOTO IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. BE SURE TO
READ THE TEXT BELOW TO HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING
OF WHAT YOU ARE VIEWING. IT IS HISTORIC TOO AS THIS
IS THE LAST MISSION FOR COLUMBIA .

The photograph attached was taken by the crew on board the Columbia
during its last mission, on a cloudless day.
The picture is of Europe and Africa when the sun is setting.
Half of the picture is in night. The bright dots you see are the cities' lights.

The top part of Africa is the Sahara Desert .

Note that the lights are already on in Holland , Paris , and Barcelona ,
and that's it's still daylight in Dublin , London , Lisbon , and Madrid .

The sun is still shining on the Strait of Gibraltar . The Mediterranean Sea is
already in darkness.

In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean you can see the Azores Islands;
below them to the right are the Madeira Islands ; a bit below are the
Canary Islands; and further South, close to the farthest western point
of Africa , are the Cape Verde Islands.

Note that the Sahara is huge and can be seen clearly both during
day time and night time.To the left, on top, is Greenland , totally frozen .

England Wins Natwest Series

England won the deciding match in the NatWest Series at a chilly Lord's by seven wickets with more than 13 overs to spare. After the drama in the sixth ODI at The Oval, the game turned out to be an anticlimax as the weight of expectation once again got to India. Their batting, with the exception of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, was uninspiring and they lacked the firepower to trouble England's strong middle order.
Their total of 187 on a decent pitch was never enough, and it was only thanks to Dhoni's belligerent late onslaught that they mustered an even half-decent score. The ease with which Paul Collingwood and Kevin Pietersen, who added 114 for the fourth wicket, kept the scoreboard rattling along underlined the difference between the sides on the day.Rahul Dravid's decision to bat raised more than a few eyebrows, especially given the low cloud cover.

Between the 20th and 35th over there was only one boundary and England's change bowlers were able to operate largely unmolested as the innings hit the doldrums. Dimitri Mascarenhas proved almost impossible to get away, taking 3 for 23 in his ten overs from the Pavilion End.Of India's top eight, only Dravid failed to make a start and yet none of them were able to play the commanding innings that was called for. In the end Dhoni, who showed that he was able to do just that, was left with the tail for company. His exciting strokeplay hinted at what might have been but by then India needed fireworks from both ends.

Defending a low total, India's only chance was to bowl England out, and RP Singh gave them a great start by dismissing both openers in his first over, Luke Wright mistiming a pull and Prior steering a catch to Dhoni. At 11 for 2 England, briefly, were on the back foot.Pietersen and Ian Bell, who weathered the onslaught with few alarms then began to open up, but the real damage was done by their running between the wickets which was sharp and risk-free, sapping the fielders' resolve.

The end came quickly in a flurry of fours, and to the delight of those with more than an eye on England's football and rugby sides, Pietersen hit the winning run almost at the moment their games got underway.

Its a Girls's World

It's a Girl's World!!

If he is late for class, he told,"Time and Tide wait for none".
If she is late, then the bus was late.

If a girl is dressed as a boy, she is modern, says the world.
But if a boy is dressed as a girl, "Has he escaped from the Zoo?"

If a boy talks with a girl, "I think he is trying for her"
But if a girl talks with a boy, then she is trying to be friendly.

When a girl cries, the world is convinced of her
But when a boy cries, "Come on man! Don't be a girl".

If a girl meets with an accident, then it's the mistake of others.
And if a boy meets with an accident, "I think you should learn to
drive".

If a boy sits in front of a city bus, he is mannerless and cultureless brute.
But if a girl sits in the back seat, "Try to respect ladies, man!".

If a boy gets a big rank in an entrance exam, "You've to work hard".
But if a girl gets a big rank,... still got 33! Reservation.

If there are girls in a class, the professor gives an interesting lecture,
And if there are no girls, he says, there is no class today.

If a girl does not answer during a viva, then atleast 'smile' says the examiner.
But when a boy does not answer,"better luck next time".

These statements proves that its a girls's world not for guys...
